As Lead Creative, I developed the creative strategy, tone and design of this campaign and wrote and produced many elements, including the spots you see here.
Finding stock music for this smart, funny but very serious subject matter became pivotal as a great foundation for the edits. Edited the first tease on desktop AVID and then worked with an editor to build out the campaign. Working closely to direct the graphic design, we adapted the print concept for video. The President and VP of HBO Films dealt with me directly for approvals.
I interviewed the cast and crew and directed the BTS shoots. I was lucky enough to interview many of the real-life characters that the cast portrayed, including Jack Kevorkian himself. Wrote and produced a 10 minute piece for DVD, 2 cutdown versions for OnDemand and on-air. The shortest 3.5 minute piece is posted here.
